- Hone up your music at the harmonium.
- Browse through the family albums.
- Climb up to the attic and take salted mangoes from the
Bharani (Jar) for dinner.
- Spend time reading at the in - house library.
- Play the old melodies in the Record Player.
- Have a real hot water bath with the water being boiled
in the outdoor bathroom itself using firewood.

- Go for a mesmerising ride in a country boat – Vallom
through the narrow canals and see village life first hand.
- Visit the many churches and temples in the vicinity with

beach which is still not spoiled by man and watch the fishermen
come back with their catch.
- Bicycle through the village.

- Use only mineral water for drinking
- Guests are expected to have their meals, which is mainly
kerala cuisine, with the hosts in the dining room. Reasonable
guest preferences will be considered.
- Mosquito and insect repellants are recommended, though
the bed rooms are mosquito proofed.
- Toddlers have to be supervised near the ponds and canals.
- The sea and the canals are not suitable for bathing.
- Dressing and behavior should be in tune with the local
ethos.
- Strong liquor, drugs and immorality are not permitted.
- The gates and private entrances will normally be closed
at 9 PM.
